Vanessa has been a great and inspiring instructor. I have Rheumatoid arthritis and find I'm very stiff and in pain. Vanessa is great about explaining which poses are specifically for arthritis. I feel very confident in her class to push myself but also know when to stop and make modifications. Part of my confidence comes from Vanessa showing us step by step and making sure we have the proper posture in the basics before we move forward. The other day, after a yoga class, I felt relief and was able to dance around my house with my kids. It was such a wonderful feeling and my whole family was amazed!

Vanessa demonstrates professionalism by assessing the different ability levels of each student in class. By doing this, I feel she makes customized programs and positional adjustments to accommodate each student’s skill. Parallel with the above, Vanessa provides guided mediation at the beginning and end of each class to help the student’s center themselves and get the most out of each session. Encouragement is the underlining tone of the class and everyone does not feel the need or want to judge him or herself and remain positive throughout the session.

I did my first ultra-marathon last Sunday and successfully completed 50km without any muscle cramp and still have energy even tho no rest for more than 24 hours.
Thank you teacher Vanessa for teaching me some yoga poses to stretch my muscles before the run and the breathing techniques that helps to ease my run.
Her class also include meditation or mindfulness practice that really helped me to get through the long distance run without getting bored and most importantly it helps me to get though the pain and soreness of my feet due to my shoes conditions.
Yoga for runners conducted by Vanessa is packed with good perks for runners including a beginner like me. Since i joined the yoga classes, i have improved my flexibility, learned the correct breathing technique for long runs, hill runs and fast runs (Vanessa is a breathing instructor as well), managed to ease muscles ache and pains, and yoga definitely has helped me recover from long runs and races faster.

Awesome instructor. I have only attended two of her classes as I just signed up recently. She guides each of the students according to their physique capacity, which is an important trait for an instructor as the students age group varies widely. She even gave me a short discourse on Kundalini and Yoga meditation. Will attend more of her classes in future.

Yoga therapist is able to PRESCRIBE yoga pose according to specific joints condition.
Vanessa will explain about muscles group involved in each yoga pose specifically and how it helps with your running performance and injuries. Thats what i really like during her class because you get to understand your body more and you know what exactly the purpose of doing that particular pose
She also teach breathing technique during running. And learning the breathing technique it helps to make my workout more efficient.
Vanessa is also very patient during the class. She wil assist you into getting the yoga pose without forcing you into it. And she will show you the modified version of the pose. I find this very helpful and motivating !

Vanessa and Ashley planned an excellent yoga retreat. It was a true travel experience staying in a local village, travelling to some amazing snorkelling spots and having an amazing sunset dinner on a sandbank. The yoga classes were for new or more experienced yoga students as well. The workshops on breathing, neti washes and yoga philosophy were a true bonus! I met amazing people on this trip and it could not have come at a better time as I have had a very difficult year. Thanks sooo much!!

Many of us would probably heard from others that yoga is good for us as it offers a lot of mental and physical benefits. But were unsure with regard to its validity. Personally I have ever joined yoga classes many years ago but I am truly impressive and find myself very comfortable with the way as to how Vanessa has been able to blend her yoga teaching into helping to solve my personal problems. Right even after attended her first class. It was so relaxing yet rejuvenating, It has helped me to improve my body flexibility, build muscle strength, relieve stress and anxiety.
